Chapter I
THE BRIDE

Introducing the bride – Eva. There’s an easy, sun-warmed glow about her — dark waves loose over her shoulders, a cold glass in hand, laughter never far away. She is the kind of bride who turns getting ready into a celebration, surrounded by the people she loves, in no hurry at all. Behind the relaxed smile is real warmth and a quiet certainty about the day ahead. In her simple, elegant gown, barefoot-summer at heart, she moves through the morning light entirely herself — radiant, unhurried, and glowing with the easy happiness of someone exactly where she wants to be.

Chapter II
THE GROOM
And then there’s Stavros. Cool, unbothered, effortlessly at ease — white suit, dark sunglasses, a cigar between his fingers and his closest friends around him. His morning was all low laughter and clinking glasses, the kind of slow, golden hour men rarely let themselves enjoy. There’s a steadiness under the charm, a loyalty his friends clearly feel and return. Captured here in black and white — the smoke curling, the whiskey poured, the jokes flying — he is exactly the man Eva fell for: grounded, generous, and quietly thrilled about the woman waiting for him just down the shore.

Chapter III
THE TWO OF THEM
And then, the two of them. Eva and Stavros found each other on the warm sand as the afternoon turned to gold, the sea glittering at their backs. There is nothing stiff between them — just an arm around a waist, a bouquet of colour, an easy lean into one another as if the whole beach belonged to them alone. Some couples have to be posed; these two simply had to be left together, and the rest took care of itself. This is what they look like happy.

Chapter IV
ON THE WATER

Then they took to the water. A boat, a bottle of champagne, the mountains rising blue across the bay — and Eva and Stavros laughing into the spray as if the day would never end. There’s a particular freedom out there: wind in her hair, his jacket long abandoned, two glasses raised to whatever comes next. Of all the moments from the day, these feel the most like them — unguarded, golden, gloriously alive, drifting somewhere between the sea and the sky.
Chapter V
GOLDEN HOUR
And as the light turned to honey, everything went quiet. The mountains softened to blue across the bay, the sea barely breathing, and Eva and Stavros folded into one another with nowhere left to be. No crowd, no schedule — just his lips against her hair, her hand at his cheek, two people certain of exactly what they had chosen. This is where the whole day finally exhaled. Whatever comes next begins right here: on still golden water, wrapped up in each other, in the last warm light of a perfect summer evening.
